Two NCAA individual champions. One national runner-up. Eleven all-Americans.

Not bad for a rebuilding year.

By any standard of measurement, the UO track and field program, in its third season under the direction of Vin Lananna, surpassed expectations in 2008 with its third Pac-10 men’s title in the past four years, and the best NCAA finish by the Duck women in 15 years.

And there’s still more to come.
