A.G. Kruger will be America’s only entrant in the Olympic Games in the hammer throw, and even he thinks that’s not good.

While he placed first at the U.S. Olympic Track & Field Trials on Friday night with a throw of 248 feet, 9 inches, what really separates him from the rest of the field was his 258-2 throw earlier this year, which made him the only American to meet the “A” standard for Beijing.
