6/17/08 CLEMSON -- Men's track and cross country coach Bob Pollock announced his retirement today after 20 seasons at Clemson University. Although his contract ends June 30, Pollock will work through the United States Olympic trials. Junior sprinter Travis Padgett is a candidate for the Olympic team. "I have enjoyed continuing the success and rich tradition of Clemson track and field/cross country during my tenure," said Pollock in a release.
