7/5/08 EUGENE -- Travis Loveless is a 32-year-old social studies teacher in small-town Indiana. He's also a self-described "track groupie" who had never stepped foot west of Oklahoma until two weeks ago. That's when he flew to Portland and took a train to Eugene to spend every day of this year's U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials as a volunteer marshal at Hayward Field.
