The first two rounds of the women’s 100 meters at the U.S. Olympic Track & Field Trials at Hayward Field proved one thing on Friday night — this race is wide open.

Seven women ran under 11 seconds during the three quarterfinal heats, led by 23-year-old Marshevet Hooker, who hit the tape in a wind-aided time of 10.76.

Still, the 2005 NCAA 100-meter champion from Texas wasn’t that impressed.
