The qualifying window for the 2008 U.S. Olympic Track & Field Trials closes on Sunday.

Athletes in need of qualifying marks, wishing to improve their national ranking, or seeking a tune-up heading into the Trials can participate in a “last chance” meet at Hayward Field on Sunday at 4 p.m.

On the track, the women’s 800 meters will be held, along with men’s 100, 600, 800, 1,500 and 3,000 steeplechase. The field events are the men’s hammer and high jump, and women’s javelin and pole vault.
