7/5/08 EUGENE -- Injuries suffered nearly two months ago resonated in the preliminaries of the hurdles races Saturday at the U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials. But whereas Michelle Perry, the pre-eminent 100-meter hurdler since after the 2004 Olympics, might have conquered her physical issues, three-time Olympian Allen Johnson never made it past his qualifying round in the 110-meter event at Hayward Field.
