Jeanette Bolden is no stranger to Eugene.

The 1984 Olympic gold medalist in the 4x100 relay has been the head coach of the UCLA women’s track and field program for the past 15 years.

She has made numerous visits to Hayward Field for a variety of competitions.

Bolden is also head coach of the U.S. women’s track and field team that will compete at the Beijing Olympics.
