(AP) -- Lance Brauman couldn't watch his two prized 100-meter sprinters win world championship golds, even though as their coach he had meticulously planned every detail of their training regimen. Not because he was too nervous. There really was no way he could be there. Instead of celebrating trackside with Tyson Gay, Brauman learned of Gay's triumph when he woke up, went to the phone at the federal prison in Texas on what would turn out to be his last day behind bars and called his wife. The next day, as he was being transferred to a halfway house, a friendly guard jumped on the Internet and told him that Veronica Campbell-Brown had leaned to victory in a photo finish.
